Klum’s costume was super detailed – E.T.’s glowing fingertip and a custom wig. Kaulitz was another character from the E.T. universe and the couple’s costumes were a total throwback to a sci-fi classic. The 23rd annual party was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York and guests got to see E.T. mingling with all sorts of other creative costumes.

2. Janelle Monae as E.T. (Again!)

E.T. was a popular choice this year as Janelle Monae also went as the alien for a Halloween special on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Known for her bold fashion choices, Monae put her own spin on the costume and said Halloween has always been a “happy place” for her. His costume wasn’t very elaborately described, but his party was full of Halloween-themed decor and brought together friends and fans to toast not just his birthday but his long-lasting career.

British TV presenter Jonathan Ross went all out for Halloween in a more neighborly fashion, decorating his home in spooky decorations and passing out treats to the local trick-or-treaters. 7. Pixie Lott as an Aperol Spritz

Who knew a Halloween costume could make you parched? Pixie Lott channeled an Aperol Spritz for her costume, complete with an orange slice as a hat. Her creative costume was among the night’s most refreshing visions, combining playful creativity with a hint of humor.

Not one to shy away from social commentary, Lizzo came as that fictional weight-loss drug from this season of South Park, finally addressing recent speculation about her fitness journey. Besides being timely, her costume also doubled as a hilarious response to her critics, Lizzo fully embracing her costume both as a statement and expression of her body positivity message.

Scream star Courteney Cox showed love for her horror roots when she slipped into her Gale Weathers costume from the horror franchise. Cox didn’t just stop at dressing herself in the Halloween costume – she even got her dogs in on the action, giving them matching little spooky outfits to complement hers. For fans of the horror series, it was a nice throwback to see Cox as Gale Weathers once again.

Influencer Molly-Mae Hague and her young daughter Bambi really pulled the stops out in their fairytale costumes, going as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, respectively. The Halloween “Boogie Ball” was complete with a spooky ball pit, treats galore, and lots of family-friendly fun.
